Publisher and Editor in Chief, The New Republic, 30

Having announced it doubled ad revenue, "largely driven by growth in digital advertising," Hughes's pledge to update it is a testament to his previous work coordinating Barack Obama's social networking website during his 2008 presidential campaign.
